Gulshan Grover along with COVID warrior Dr.  Deepa Bandgar joined Vishvas Mote, Asst Comm, BMC K West Ward, Dr.Anusha Srinivasan Iyer and Vedant Gill of Make Earth Green Again MEGA Foundation at BMC's Be A Tree Parent MEGA Vriksha Campaign with the planting of a tree at Yari Road. They joined the likes of Hema Malini, Ranvir Shorey and son Haroon Shorey, Dino Morea, Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Abhishek Bachchan, Bappi Lahiri, Bappa B Lahiri, Shatrughan Sinha, Sonakshi Sinha, Poonam Sinha, Ajay Devgn and son Yug Ajay Devgn, Sonu Nigam, Dr Mickey Mehta, Nikita Rawal, DCP Abhishek Trimukhe,  Rupali Suri, Vatsal Sheth, Amit Behl, Ayesha Jhulka, Dr. Aneel Kashi Murarka, Saniya Saiyad, Ashnoor Kaur, Advait Mote and MLA  Ameet Satam,  Veronica Vanij and Malvi Malhotra who are all proud tree parents!

The efforts of Anusha Srinivasan Iyer of Make Earth Green Again MEGA Foundation and Vishvas Mote, Asst Commissioner, BMC is laudable. And I am thankful to the resident adoptees who will take care of the plant with love. We should plant more trees and Make Earth Green Again," averred Gulshan Grover.

World Environment Day 2021 marked the start of BMC’s ‘Be A Tree Parent’ MEGA Vriksha Campaign. Instituted by the K West Ward Asst Commissioner Mr. Vishvas Mote, along with Dr. Anusha Srinivasan Iyer of Make Earth Green Again MEGA Foundation and Shaan Lalwani from Vriksha Nursery, the campaign involves and encourages societies and residents to adopt tree pits from the 348 Mumbai locations where trees had fallen in the K West Ward, post Cyclone Tauktae, and replant identified, fast-growing native tree species in those locations. The campaign has caught on like wildfire woth many celebs and citizens joining in.
