World Film Carnival Singapore awards, Kumar Raj’s Internationally acclaimed film ‘Tara’ Awarded the Best Narrative Feature Film
Kumar Raj’s ‘Tara’ has recieved constant accolades and appreciation by some of the most prestigious film dignitaries, accreditations and awards globally and has also got the honour to be screened & placed in the New York Film academy Library. World Film Carnival (WFC) Singapore awards is a live screening of film festival awards. It is the fastest growing film festival in Asia which aims to showcase emerging filmmakers, talent in a 100% audience choice awards.
Talking about this award, Kumar Raj says, “When I got this news that my film has won on such a huge platform I immediately informed my entire team and we all were delighted & had a great celebration . The festival director himself congratulated me for being the winner in the 19th Season of WFC-Singapore. We are extremely proud on how the film is performing. We wish that ‘Tara’ not only sets a benchmark but becomes a role model to every aspiring filmmaker to work hard without thinking much about the results.”
The film features a melodious song in the voice of the famous singer Madhushree. 'Tara' is written by Dr. Prof. Kishen Pawar. Lead actress of the film is Rekha Rana (recipient of 40 international awards) along with actors Aashish Salim and Rohan Shroff.
Kumar Raj’s upcoming next feature film ‘Ameena ’ starring Rekha Rana , Utkarsh Kholi &
will be releasing by the end of the year 2021.
