FOLLOWING IN THE FOOTPRINTS OF THE KING OF HEARTS

 

Ms.Sharon Joy, and  Ms.Shereen Joy, granddaughters of  the world renown cardiac surgeon is nonetheless in proving their knowledge and Skills not only from the  School years but also at Medical school.

In the Year 2017: Ms. Sharon Joy has the credibility of being the only Indian Student Selected for 2017 Global Young Leaders Conference (GYLC) from India to attend the National Student Leadership Conference at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts and the Global Young Leaders Conference at Washington DC and New York.

At the global meet, Sharon interacted with subject matter experts (SME), gained  hands-on experience, with powerful influence over politics, finance, culture and diplomacy. On receiving this opportunity, Sharon said, that she  was fortunate to have been invited for the 2017 conference. This conference was not only a unique leadership development programme that brought  together outstanding young people from around the world but also it built  critical leadership skills to her  with a global context. I am looking forward to be part of this global opportunity

At present Sharon is pursuing her Medicine from Indira Gandhi Medial College And Research Institute ,Pondicherry.She has the same heart and compassion like her grandfather and likes to work for a social cause. She had raised funds upto Rs.30 Lakhs INR towards a social cause using  a Social Media Platform. Being the granddaughter of Dr K M Cherian (Chairman and CEO of Frontier Lifeline Hospital), Medicine,empathy  and charity  flows through her veins,

Carrying the Legacy Forward is a gift from God.

RESEARCH CHAIR:2021 to 2022

The State of Pondicherry had constituted   a Medical Students Network, Working Committee-Indian Medical Association. Ms. Sharan Joy has been elected as the Research Chair for the year 2021-2022.

Sharon feels that it’s too early for her to decide if she wants to follow in her grandfather’s footprints  of becoming a cardiac surgeon.  Her current interests lie in Genetics and Pediatrics.

ACHIEVEMENT IN MATHEMATICS:

Ms. Shereen Sarah Joy is to be highly praised towards her achievement for receiving the outstanding CBSE Board Certificate of Merit in Mathematics Subject (Class X) awarded to the top 0.1%of the success candidates nationally  and globally.
