 Kumar Raj wins the prestigious ‘Legend Dadasaheb Phalke Award’ for his internationally acclaimed film ‘Tara: The journey of love and passion’





Producer and director Kumar Raj’s ‘Tara :The Journey of Love and Passion ’ is on a road to unstoppable success with the film receiving accolades and appreciation across the globe. The feature film has already won a total of 237 awards and has been screened at 337 national and international film festivals around the world. 



Recently Kumar Raj also won  ‘Legend Dadasaheb Phalke Award’ , in the presence of ‘Gabbar’ film actor and one of the most prominent stars of south cinema, Mr. Suman Talwar. Award was presented to Kumar Raj by Mr Chandrashekhar Pulaskar the grand  son of Dadasaheb Phalke & by “Gabbar” film actor & one of the most prominent stars of south cinema Mr Suman Talwar



Talking about this victory and glorious moment, Kumar Raj says, “Dadasaheb Phalke is the great father of Indian cinema and he was the first to make a full-length feature film of Indian cinema. Receiving the award at the Legend Dadasaheb Phalke Award is really an honor for me and my entire team. My film ‘Tara’ is an example for people, that when talent and hardwork come together there is no stop to success. Receiving this award from the hands of such a brilliant actor like Suman Talwar felt really amazing”


The film Tara Produced & Directed by Kumar Raj features a melodious song in the voice of famous singer Madhushree. Film Tara is written by Dr. Prof. Kishen Pawar and co-produced by Dhram. Lead actress of the film is Rekha Rana (recipient of 40 international awards) along with amazing cast that includes Aashish Salim and Rohan Shroff.
