Sneh Binny on his recent Kerala holiday: Just like a computer needs a shutdown/rebooting after a point, the mind too needs the same
His love for travel takes Sneh Binny to different places around India and abroad. The jewellery and diamond entrepreneur recently went to Kerala with family and had a wonderful vacation.
“We went to Kerala for four nights but our flight got rescheduled and there was no other flight to Mumbai, so we had to extend one more night. Well, we were more than happy to do that. Travelling with family is always fun. This was actually my second visit to the state, though I don’t really remember the first time I visited Kerala because at that time I was just a kid,” he says.
This is after eight months that he took a well deserved holiday. “You must take your mind off work. But, because of the Covid scenario we could not take the chance. Finally, when we had the opportunity we did not want to miss it. Short breaks are a must for your mental as well as physical health. It’s as simple as breaking the monotony our life gets into these days. Just like a computer needs a shutdown/rebooting after a point, the mind too needs the same,” adds Sneh, who co-owns Delhi Binny’s Brigade, a part of the Tennis Premier League (TPL), with filmmaker-actor Divya Khosla Kumar.
Happy that technology has advanced enough for one to keep a tab on work even on a holiday. Though he prefers to stay away from work during a break, Sneh always carries his phones and laptops in case of an emergency.
Going back to his exploration of God’s own country, he shares, “Kerala is a beauty. I loved Munnar and Kottayam, both had a different vibe. One is on top of a mountain with clouds around you, and the other one is by the lake. This trip was like a true escape amid nature. I loved the tea gardens of Munnar and the lush green beauty all around.”
