About the movie, Nambi Narayanan says' " The movie Rocketery depicts the truth about my life. R Madhavan has not just acted in the movie, but he has lived as Nambi Narayanan through the course of its making. He truly nailed my mannerisms, the way I laugh, or sit. I couldn’t believe if it was Madhavan or myself on the screen. Everybody appreciated the movie for such a realistic portrayal of me and my life. Madhavan has truly played a critical role in it. I cannot explain the trouble and risk he has taken to make something like this. I regard him as a God sent man for me.
Some places in the movie are under dramatised and the torture scenes are way milder as compared to what he actually faced in real life was revealed by Nambi Narayanan.
"I’m happy that my innocence was proved not once but again in front of the Supreme Court and also the people of the country. It was a fight to prove my innocence and by god’s grace I’ve overcome that phase of my life. My wife has suffered a lot along-with me but we’re thankful that finally we have got justice.", added Nambi Narayanan.
Nambi Narayanan gave a message for the young generation, “If you believe in certain things and you think it is the right thing to do, you must continue to do that to the very end.”
