This movie was iconic as it has raised the bars and set standards in the science-fiction genre of visual storytelling. Commemorating the course of the movie, completing 40 years and celebrating with Indian fans, Universal studios, the distributor of the movie, is screening this movie once again for enthusiasts, all across IMAX cinema halls in India.
Produced by Steven Speiberg and Kathleen Kennedy the movie showcases a story about a boy, Elliott who becomes pals with an alien who is left behind on Earth. Elliott tries to help his friend and find a solution to assist his alien friend reach back home safely.
