Fitness to actors is like salt to food and the showbiz industry demands them to look fit, appealing, and presentable all the time, and to achieve that, a healthy lifestyle is a must. Actor Faisal Khan who plays the character of Garud in Sony SAB’s Dharm Yoddha Garud has worked
extremely hard to achieve his fitness goals. Faisal takes his fitness seriously and there is no compromise when it comes to workout. Talented in every way, Faisal is also a true fitness freak. Switching to healthier choices in life, for both the mind and the body, Faisal Khan's fitness mantra revolves around achieving happiness and perfection in whatever he does.
Revealing his basic workout routine, the actor says, “For my character in the show Dharm Yoddha Garud, I had to work on my physique. For that, I lost 8 kgs. I have a set routine. Yoga plays an important part in my fitness routine, which I practice every morning. Other than that, I work out at the gym every day; except Mondays, I skip and dance whenever I can. Swimming and cycling are also part of my workout routine.”
For Faisal, lifestyle is keeping the right balance of everything - work, food, and workout. The actor says ‘No’ to crash diets. “I would recommend people to try and avoid crash diets as I feel that one should eat whatever they like, but in proportion and then exercise well to burn off all the fat. Exercising should be the most important factor in everyone’s daily routine as that is the only thing that keeps you fit and strong.” he adds.
